Chief Financial Officer
Josh Reusing leads the Finance and Administration group at Equity, and is responsible for maintaining high quality financial reporting processes that range from day-to-day operational controls to strategic planning and analysis. As CFO, he leads Equity’s public company reporting, and also oversees the capital planning and liquidity requirements specific to a regulated financial institution.
Josh has been a member of the core management team since joining Equity in 2005 as Corporate Controller. He is a Chartered Accountant with 15 years’ experience in financial control and reporting, analysis and planning. During his time with Equity, Josh has helped evaluate and execute on various strategic initiatives, including the launch of our mortgage and deposit taking business in 2011, and as a member of the core deal team that negotiated the $64 million sale of Equity’s transfer and trust business in 2013.
Before joining Equity, Josh lived in British Columbia where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria, and obtained his accounting designation while working for five years at Grant Thornton LLP.
